4th annual collaborative art event

This collaborative art exhibit pairs local artists with writers who are sharing personal stories of struggle, hope and recovery with mental health challenges.  Participating artists are matched with writers to create an artistic portrayal of these stories. This show is an amazing display of insight, inspiration, understanding, strength and connection.

Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is partnering with the Sacramento County Division of Behavioral Health Services, and The Stop Stigma Speakers Bureau to bring this event to the public. “The show continues through October 23, Wednesday - Saturday 11am-4pm, at the Arts Center/Gift Gallery, 9683 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove 95624. It will then continue in November at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center and then the Crocker Art Museum in December. Click HERE to view and print the Journey of Hope Reception Flyer.  Opening Reception is October 6, 2018.

The purpose of this event is to share real life stories of hope and recovery which will give others insight, inspiration, understanding, strength, connection and to raise awareness.
